Intro 1

We are golden. The rats and the brats and the self-taught masters. Tripping through the streets with eyes wide like rainbow spinners. Today I looked around at the faces and decided once again that I love this city and what we’ve done with it despite the forces working against all things free and easy. The formerly new crop all grown up but still replete with scheming scumbags and wily junkies. For every clean smile there is a stained and yellow one just as for every bright eye there is a black one.
Obliterated yet held as holy still.
Stripped of dignity before my clothes.
I approach palms open a body the only weapon to hold.
You fold your hands into mine and as I enfold my body into yours.
A sacred cross of legs and arms until cut off at the head.
I am speaking. You hear me not.
But a voice of an angel I once had, with words to match.
A gurgle or a squeal is all you hear
The echos where blood replaces air.

On why I am so often wish to remain untitled

A title is a commitment, and i fear them both.
Pressing the words into a headed meaning, presenting thoughts definitively.
It's final and of that I am frightened.

From a friend

Gave me a great opening line tonight. I love it when friends speak like fiction:

"You're good. You pride yourself on evil but you've got too much good in you."

Bones

All i want to keep in this world is my bones
To see them pushing at my thin skin
Is to see the life i was born to live
Impenetrable and the only thing stable
When everything else melts away
Their shape internal is my eternal

Life determined in a flash of white calcified lust
Isn't a vision into the spectrum of death
But the rock hard breakable passage into eternity
Through hollows and marrow and tissue
The undeniable structure that keeps me standing still
Despite every opportunity facing a collapse.

That childhood's first skin tear
Glimpsing the sickening flash of white
Red ripping and blood dripping
Tears and fissures and cracks
Seeing your insides invading your out
Meeting an essential your eyes can't contact

A summoning of cells, my bones can't leave me
They can't abandon me unlike blood
Which will leave me if given the chance
In a slow pulsing leak it flees
My bones won't go nowhere
They stand as i stand and creak as they need

All i want to keep in this world is my bones
To see them pushing at my thin skin
Is to see the life i was born to live
Impenetrable and the only thing stable
When everything else melts away
Their shape internal is my eternal

And in the great advance of age
They will bend and mold my stance
The curvature of a spine once straight
Will tell a story of all my pain and hate
While my wrists call out delicately
To remember that once i saw light

A task of unemployment

And so begins the journey onto a second blog. With the goal to be more productive in my writing I will here share with you what I've been working on outside of the exercises in entertainment that is Reality No Show. Hope you enjoy (and hope this works.)
